Denny Bowen is a longstanding singer/songwriter from San Antonio, Texas. Establishing himself in the rock scene as a lead guitarist and singer of Napoleon Machine Gun in the early-mid 90s. These days, he’s paving his path in gospel music, where he shares his own life struggles to connect with listeners.
Denny has committed his life to music. “As far back as I can remember, all I ever wanted to be was a musician. When I was a kid, before I could even play guitar, I would put on concerts in my living room, playing along with everything from Chuck Berry to the Osmonds”. With over 100 original songs in his repertoire, his unique finger style playing, crosses genres from Americana and Bluegrass, to Folk, Funk, Rock, and Blues, appealing to every listener.
Denny has fought off his own demons, including a decades long addiction to alcohol. Being sober for almost a decade now, he loves writing about his rescue from addiction, as well as the many struggles and issues that face everyone today. His songs tell stories, as well as deliver messages of hope.
